Due to ongoing regional developments affecting the Middle East airspace, several airlines have announced an extension of the initial suspension of flights to and from Saudi Arabia. So, if you’re flying in or out of the Kingdom, it’s worth double-checking your booking before heading to the airport. These are the latest flynas flight updates to know about.

The budget carrier announced that the cancellations have been extended, citing safety concerns amidst rising tensions due to the continued closure of airspace in certain international destinations as a result of the current regional situation.

The carrier will be extending the suspension of flights to and from the following destinations: Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, and Syria until 11:59pm on March 15. flynas advises its travelling guests to check the status of their flights through its website flynas.com before heading to the airport. In a statement made by the airline on X, formerly Twitter, it was announced that flights to and from Dubai have been resumed, on a very limited schedule. Due to airspace closures, flights to and from eight destinations remain cancelled. These include flights from Amman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Moscow, and Peshawar and will remain suspended. Flights to and from Amman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Bahrain have been suspended until 11.59pm on Tuesday March 10. Flights to and from Moscow, Russia and Peshawar, Pakistan will remain suspended until Sunday March 15.

Flights to Dubai will operate on a limited schedule initially, with additional services expected to be restored progressively. Further updates will be shared through the airline’s official channels.
