Riyadh Parking is now trialing monthly parking subscriptions

Riyadh’s paid parking service, better known as Riyadh Parking, has just revealed a brand-new trial monthly subscription. This is everything we know about the Riyadh Parking monthly subscription.
The new announcement was made on X (formerly Twitter) and is now available through the Riyadh Parking app.

The Riyadh Parking monthly subscription costs SAR150 for paid parking spaces as part of a temporary trial phase aimed at developing the service and studying users’ needs. The pass covers the designated paid on-street parking zones managed by the city.
Riyadh Parking includes over 20,000 paid parking spaces distributed across main and commercial streets in Riyadh. It oversees more than 300,000 managed free parking spaces within residential neighbourhoods through monitoring and enforcement systems. The project’s objectives are to reduce random parking, improve mobility within the city, and support commercial activities.
Types of parking

On-street parking in public and commercial areas (paid).

Off-street parking in vital locations to enhance mobility experience and increase parking availability, including surface parking, multi-storey parking, and mechanical parking.

Managed parking (free) located within residential neighbourhoods adjacent to paid parking zones.
Operating hours
The Riyadh Parking operating hours have also been updated to the following:
- Saturday to Thursday: 8am to midnight
- Fridays: Free
- Holidays and national occasions: Free
Costs
Parking costs remain the same at SAR3.45 per hour.
How to use the service

Users can easily determine their current location and find the nearest available parking spots. - Electronic Payment
Offers multiple payment options, including Apple Pay, Mada, and credit cards, to simplify the payment process. - Digital residential area parking permits
Enables residents and visitors to obtain digital residential permits through the app, helping to organise parking usage in residential neighbourhoods. - Parking Duration Control
Allows users to set their desired parking duration, with a 15-minute grace period before the paid parking time is activated.
