The largest dancing fountain in Saudi Arabia is now open

It’s the second tallest in the Middle East

The largest dancing fountain in Saudi Arabia has just opened to the public in the Asir region as part of the gorgeous Al Wadi Resort.

Standing at an impressive 120 metres, the newly inaugurated largest dancing fountain in Saudi Arabia is the tallest in the Kingdom, the second tallest in the Middle East, and the third tallest in the world and was developed at a cost of more than SAR16 million and pumps over seven million litres of water.

The opening of the largest dancing fountain in Saudi Arabia marks a key milestone in the new tourism project. Spanning more than 300,000 square metres, the development features gardens, farms, restaurants, cafés, a theater, and indoor event halls.

The resort also includes a 60,000-square-metre heritage village designed to showcase the authentic cultural heritage of Aseer Region. It features shops and traditional markets showcasing the region’s heritage. That’s not all though; the development also includes an upcoming museum highlighting Aseer’s history and cultural legacy, is scheduled to open next month

Al Wadi Resort is home to 34 villas; 24 standard with garden views and four royal villas with large pools. The new property offers diverse daily entertainment featuring dancing fountain shows, theatrical performances, and a variety of other activities, running daily from 1pm until midnight. These new attractions contribute to boosting tourism and enriching the visitor experience during the summer season.

The new project reflects the private sector’s role as a key partner in supporting national development through investment in high-quality tourism projects that stimulate economic activity and strengthen Aseer’s position as one of the Kingdom’s leading tourist destinations, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop the tourism sector and enhance the quality of life.
