Konnichiwa Japan

Saudia, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Air Connectivity Program (ACP) and the Saudi Tourism Authority, has just announced flights to a brand-new destination, and it’s a highly sought-after one. Saudia is launching direct flights to Tokyo soon.

Happening this November, Saudia is launching direct flights to Tokyo, and tickets are now available for booking through Saudia’s digital channels and authorised sales outlets.

The new route will operate three weekly flights from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh starting Tuesday November 17. The introduction of direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Japan will strengthen tourism and commercial activity between the two countries while expanding access to the Kingdom.

Tokyo, the bustling capital of Japan, effortlessly blends busy city life with its neon-lit skyscrapers, nature with the stunning Mount Fuji, and tradition with the opulent Meiji Shinto and the Imperial Palace. The city is home to several glorious museums too that offer a little something for everyone. The stunning exhibits include classical art at the Tokyo National Museum and a reconstructed kabuki theatre at the Edo-Tokyo Museum.

The route is expected to strengthen business, investment, trade and tourism flows, while opening broader opportunities for cultural and knowledge exchange between two nations with deep heritage and ambitious visions for the future. Saudia continues to advance its ambitious strategy for international growth and network expansion.

The airline currently operates to more than 100 destinations, supported by a modern fleet of 153 aircraft. Saudia is also moving forward with a major fleet expansion programme that will add 112 new aircraft, strengthening its operational capabilities, enhancing air connectivity, and supporting its objective of bringing the world to the Kingdom while reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as one of the world’s leading aviation and tourism hubs.
