MDLBeast to host the first music conference in Riyadh
The three-day event will feature roundtables, networking opportunities, and music activations…
Music professionals and fans from across the region – you can now look forward to a three-day music conference and nightlife events in Riyadh.
Brought to you by the teams behind MDLBeast and SoundStorm, the launch of the Middle East’s first music conference is set to become the “most forward-thinking gathering of music leaders in the region”.
Called XP, the inaugural conference taking place from December 13 to 15 at Diriyah’s JAX will bring together industry heavyweights to fuel the region’s music scene.
What is the XP music conference?
Organised in conjunction with the Saudi Music Commission, XP aims to generate opportunities for music industry professionals of all backgrounds.
Artists, entrepreneurs, creatives, and policymakers will come together to shape the future of the region’s music industry.
According to the organisers, the conference program is built on four key pillars – talent and development, inspire and promote, data, policy and advocacy, and social purpose – that will help to amplify the region’s music industry.
Each pillar contains carefully curated panel discussions, workshops, roundtables, and networking opportunities by day.
After dark, music activations around the city will showcase the region’s budding nightlife scene.
Ramadan Alharatani, CEO of MDLBeast, shares, “XP is a truly ground-breaking opportunity to contribute to building new music and creative ecosystem that will offer benefits for all. The Middle East and Africa music market, which accounted for around US$170 million in the year 2018, is expected to grow to more than US$650 million in 2027. This is the scale of the opportunity and the reason why XP exists; to build the infrastructure to support and accelerate that growth.”
How to purchase tickets?
Tickets for the ‘Day Xperience’, which includes access to the conference for all three days, are available for SAR1,950 SAR.
The ‘Full Xperience’ ticket, priced at SAR3,450, offers three-day conference access plus entry to the evening parties and events.
A ‘Lite Xperience’ ticket is available for SAR150 and includes access for one day between 4pm and midnight.
