An international school in Bahrain opens enrolment to students in Saudi Arabia
There will be a shuttle service to transport students living in Saudi Arabia to and from Riffa Views International School…
Finding a good school is already a tedious task for any parent, but it is all the more challenging for expats.
For those residing in the Eastern Province looking for an international school, why not secure a spot for your school-age children in neighbouring Bahrain? With the new school year starting in September, here’s an option that may suit your child’s educational needs.
Riffa Views International School (RVIS) has announced that it is accepting enrolment applications for the new academic year from students based in Al Khobar and Dammam.
Students will be transported to and from the American-core curriculum school by a special, secure shuttle on a daily basis. The international school, which hosts a student body from over 40 nationalities, has been steadily growing its student population from Saudi Arabia.
Available to young learners in the nursery to grade 12, the programme is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA).
RVIS offers International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma for students in grades 11 and 12, and a personalised learning experience to help students exceed their potential by igniting curiosity in their minds and guiding them.
The school provides agile learning spaces, including technology-based classrooms and a Level 5 Innovation Centre to accommodate its future of learning initiatives, such as robotics, 3D printers and laser printing.
The school’s multitude of programmes – like student internships in the fields of marketing, journalism, finance, videography, and education – will also ensure that the middle and high school enrollees are well-placed to move on to their university of choice.
“Parents from Saudi have shown an interest in enrolling their kids at RVIS due to the short commute and international focus,” commented Ken Davis, director of marketing and admissions. “For many parents, the commute time to RVIS from Dammam or Khobar is similar to the commute they would have to make to a school of equal standards in the region,” he added.
However, if you’re not too keen on heading back across the causeway every day and switching back and forth between home and school, a five-day boarding programme is also offered for the older students.
RVIS’ approach hones social and cognitive skills, develops positive attitudes and values, and creates sustainable solutions to make every child a future-ready global citizen. An accessible and attractively priced institution, RVIS partners with you to take your child from strength to strength.
