The YouTubers hope the initiative will turn moments of isolation during the pandemic into moments of celebration.
Here’s how you join in on the virtual iftar
The virtual iftar will be held on Tuesday May 19, 2020 at 6pm, and is set to last for an hour.
Head to Mohamed Moshaya’s channel here, where you join the YouTubers, their family, friends and other fans in celebrating iftar.
According to Moshaya, “Ramadan this year feels very different, which is why I decided to enlist a couple of my friends in the YouTube community to come together and turn this moment of isolation into celebration.”
The Saudi Reporters who have a 6.11 million following, are equally honoured and excited about the attempt. They claimed, “As The Saudi Reporters we always love to make history and reach impossible goals,”
They went on to state that, “In these difficult times we feel it’s our duty to do whatever we can to help people get through this pandemic even with something as small as drawing a smile on people’s faces,”
