Riyadh Travel Fair is postponed for the second time
The fair will now take place from March 15 to 18, 2021…
If you’re in the GCC travel industry, you’ll probably have the Riyadh Travel Fair on your radar. Well, there’s now a little bit longer to wait, as it has been postponed for the second time. It will now take place from March 15 to 18, 2021.
The second postponement is in light of the impact of COVID-19 on both the events and travel industry. The Riyadh Travel Fair is the largest tourism and travel exhibition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. When the event does go ahead, it will host 250 exhibitors from over 50 countries, and is expected to attract 30,000 visitors.
Mr Bandar Al-Quarani, General Manager of ASAS Exhibition and Conference Organising Company, said, “While our travel partners and visiting public were looking extremely forward to another exciting edition of the Riyadh Travel Fair, our concern for public health and safety during this pandemic necessitated its 2nd time postponement.”
