The food

What’s on the menu? Bold dishes inspired by the playful flavours of Japan. Helmed by former Global Executive Chef of Zuma Group, Anthony Garlando, alongside Chef Hendry Shiro, the menu reflects the vibrant essence, methods and textures of Japanese street food combined with the talented duo’s creative flair.

BazĀru boasts signature dishes like king crab tempura, yaki onigiri, Australian wagyu sirloin, and cabinara soba with beef bacon, seafood oil and smoked garlic butter.

The very playful theme also trickles down to its beverages, curated by expert mixologist Chris Grøtvedt. Expect too-pretty-to-drink tea-based signature mocktails inspired by Japanese aesthetic concepts. All you have to do is sit back and watch with excitement as your drink comes to life.

The concept

Head over to the unique multi-dimensional concept store, Sum+Things, and step into BazĀru.

From its one-of-a-kind location to bespoke hand-made crockery pieces by French artist Pauline Robustelli, the space blends seamlessly into the quirky design of Sum+Things while also displaying its cool personality with bold pastel colours, lush greenery and metallic finishing.

Speaking about the restaurant launch, Aseel Holding’s chief operating officer Baris Molvali said, “BazĀru combines Japanese cuisine with European style and the Saudi spirit. It is an exciting addition to both Riyadh’s high-end restaurant scene and our growing portfolio of homegrown brands.”

Swing by for dinner and let BazĀru treat your palate and senses.
