Dig into the chicken tortilla wrapped with roasted chicken strips, mango, spinach and couscous. If you’re in for a feast, try the Maui poke bowl, which is packed with flavours like marinated avocado, edamame harissa and wasabi peas. Our advice? Come hungry and leave without the guilt.

The cuisine served here is known as Nikkei, blending flavours from Peru and Japan. Its menu will lean towards small plates to share, such as ceviche and tiradito (seafood sliced sashimi-style). Other plates feature classic Japanese dishes that have been reworked with Peruvian ingredients such as avocado, quinoa, corn and passion fruit. A great addition to Jeddah’s already diverse dining scene.
Kuuru, King Khalid Road, Al Khalidiyyah, Jeddah 21411, H47G+XP, Sun to Wed 1pm to 11.45pm, Thurs to Sat 1pm to 12.45am. Tel: 053 250 0123. @kuuruksa
