Nobu

After launching a successful pop-up in 2019 as part of the Jeddah Season, followed by its first restaurant in Riyadh at Nobu Hotel, a permanent Nobu Jeddah address is already in the pipeline. It is slated to open at Movenpick Resort Al Nawras. Diners can look forward to Nobu’s signature dishes, such as the black cod miso, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño, salmon new style sashimi and rock shrimp tempura.

Play Restaurant & Lounge

A restaurant that earned its stripes as one of Dubai’s liveliest late-night dining spots, Play promises ‘Mediterrasian’ fusion dishes – where Mediterranean and Asian flavours combine – served up in an elegant setting in Jeddah’s newest entertainment destination, Atelier LaVie. Those who didn’t get to experience its pop-up in January last year, we’ll soon have a permanent place to play…

Parrilla de Brazil

Brasa de Brazil and Fogo de Chao are getting some new competition. Homegrown Parrilla de Brazil is another Brazilian steakhouse set to open at Atelier LaVie. Food will be served churrasco-style, in which servers roam the dining room with skewers of grilled meats such as chicken, lamb and steak cuts for diners to choose from. A self-serve salad bar and desserts will also be part of the line-up.

If you’re a big fan of sushi, here’s another Japanese restaurant for you. This marks Shiro’s first opening in Jeddah, with three branches in Riyadh. Shiro’s menu covers a wide range of sushi and sashimi, from the standard California roll to the more adventurous dragon-eye fry (sushi made fresh with salmon, tobiko and cheese and then deep-fried). Plus, everything’s pretty wallet-friendly, which we love.

Bagatelle Beach

The legendary Bagatelle Beach is opening a pop-up this summer at the luxurious Indigo Beach Resort. This will be Bagatelle’s first-ever foray into the Saudi market, promising to create a never-before French experience for the city’s food and lifestyle aficionados.
