Bagatelle is the Jeddah pop-up that everyone’s talking about

It will also be opening a first Riyadh outpost soon…

The international modern French restaurant concept, Bagatelle, is making its debut in Saudi Arabia, with a pop-up in Jeddah. The restaurant, which is due to open this summer, will be located at the exclusive Indigo Beach Resort.

Understated and utterly sophisticated with impeccable style, Indigo is a private beach club in Obhur, nestled on the heavenly sands of the Red Sea. With its lively atmosphere and killer views, the luxurious beach resort serves as a paradise, providing members with a much-needed luxury escape.

A beach haven

The concept of Bagatelle Beach has always been an elegant and stylish gathering place where guests can lounge around soaking up the sun, enjoy refined Mediterranean cuisine in a chic, French-style setting, and party to lively music.

It is no wonder that Indigo Beach Resort has become the chosen spot to capture Bagatelle Beach’s finest qualities.

Here’s the good news, though. Despite Indigo being a members-only club, Bagatelle Beach Jeddah will be open to the public.

Food-wise, imagine a menu that combines French-Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and taste that takes diners to the heart of Bagatelle’s culinary identity. We’re looking forward to experiencing its signature dishes, such as truffle roasted chicken, baby potatoes and jus, and their homemade gnocchi with truffle sauce and parmesan.

Your joie de vivre awaits

Bagatelle, known for its clubby brunch parties, is also set to make its way to our capital city this summer. A Riyadh branch is way overdue for this upscale international chain, if you were to ask us. However, the exact location is still being kept tightly under wraps.

Other than that, there’s practically no information on what the Jeddah and Riyadh offerings are. But if it’s anything like the rest of the Bagatelle locations, we’re expecting high-class vibes and no-holds-barred fun.

Perhaps, an ambience reminiscent of a bustling Parisian bistro, with classic decor and architecture paired with chic and bold artwork, lively music, and a relaxed vibe.

Plus, as some of you may know, a Bagatelle without music would not remain true to its brand or celebration of joie de vivre. So, we’re hoping both branches will feature renowned DJs from all over the world, giving guests an enticing energy and ambience while dining.

Bagatelle was initially set up in New York by French restaurateurs Aymeric Clemente and Remi Laba in 2012. It now has properties worldwide, including Miami, Ramatuelle, St. Barth, Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, Punta del Este, London, Buenos Aires and Courchevel.

We can’t wait for Bagatelle Beach Jeddah and Bagatelle Riyadh to open, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as soon as we know more.
