These 6 acclaimed restaurants are opening in KAFD, Riyadh

Gastronomes, get ready…

An important landmark of Riyadh, the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious and distinguished projects.

The development is the business and entertainment hub of the city. It includes offices, hotels, residential units, shops, and cultural facilities, all centred around a wadi, a landscaped pedestrian route that weaves through and unifies the entire district.

What’s more, a host of new restaurants are also opening their doors at KAFD, further expanding the incredible selection of cuisine in the capital city.

Here are the new restaurants that are set to open in KAFD…

Looking for a healthy restaurant that’s all gluten and dairy-free? It sounds like A.O.K Kitchen may be just the thing. The healthy eating concept from London is coming to KAFD, and it prides itself on using absolutely no refined sugar. The restaurant will be serving dishes inspired by the Mediterranean and Californian flavours, with signatures such as homemade gluten-free gnocchi, BBQ lamb chops, and honey roasted salmon. We’re hoping there’s a gluten-free bakery, too, just like its London outpost.

Chotto Matte

Those seeking a taste of the Japanese-Peruvian cuisine from Riyadh’s first location of chain Chotto Matte won’t have to wait much longer. Chotto Matte, which means “wait a minute” in Japanese, will soon be welcoming their first customers in the heart of KAFD. Expect to see bold street art on the walls and a myriad of authentic Nikkei dishes like the best-selling sashimi, shrimp gyoza, and lobster and wild prawn ceviche. The brand is also memorable for its diverse and vibrant atmosphere that suits all types for any occasion.

You’ll soon be able to try Prague’s most popular traditional pastry trdelnik right here in the city. Trdelnik, commonly known as chimney cake, consists of rolled dough topped with sugar and walnuts. However, Good Food is known for taking the classic recipe to a whole new level by adding a bunch of other colourful ingredients to the mix. You’re definitely going to want to ‘Gram this one.
