Here are four restaurants in Jeddah that are a must-visit over the long weekend.

Twina

Saudi cuisine is as diverse as it comes and represents so many tribes, communities, and geographical locations within the Kingdom, and Jeddah, known as the Bride of the Red Sea, is really all about the seafood. Abu Zaid

Abu Zaid is a lifestyle restaurant that’s all about appreciating local Saudi cuisines. There are 20 branches across the Kingdom, many of which are in Jeddah, and offers fast, affordable, and delicious local food. Special mentions go to the mutabaqh, which offers a huge range of fillings, all of which are delicious.

Al Nakheel

Al Nakheel is one of the most contemporary local restaurants in Jeddah but doesn’t compromise on heritage when it comes to hospitality and taste. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, and homely. Expect comfortable couches and big screens playing football as families and friends enjoy delicious hearty meals, including barbecued meats and locally caught seafood.

Maqadeer

Maqadeer aims to offer a little something for everyone, and it does a great job at it. Guests can expect traditional dishes such as saleeq as well as more contemporary options, including pasta. The decor fits perfectly with the menu and blends local and modern decorations. It’s one of the best options for traditional comfort food in Jeddah.
