If you are working in the private sector and non-profit sectors in Saudi Arabia, holidays start from Saturday April 30 and last for four days.
The big day itself, Eid Al Fitr, is expected to land on Monday May 2 or Tuesday May 3. The exact dates are confirmed closer to the time, as it is dependent on the sighting of the moon.
In the meantime, make the most of the best iftars in Jeddah and Riyadh. If you’re looking for ways to spend your Eid break, check out the new routes from Saudia, which head to gorgeous getaways.
And, if you want to start planning ahead for the next public holidays in Saudi Arabia, you’ll have to wait for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha in June (the exact dates have yet to be confirmed), and then Saudi National Day on September 23. Happy holidays.
