Here's what to look forward to at Groove on the Grass Jeddah

The music and arts festival returns this September…

Groove on the Grass returns to Jeddah on Friday, September 30 for a 12-hour music journey. The dance music and arts festival will take place in Juman Park, KAEC, after holding their first event in Saudi Arabia here back in May of this year.

Dance music fans can expect a unique line up of artists, marketplaces for festival-goers to buy and sell art and handmade goods, wellness activities, and plenty of food trucks.

The two-day line up features four international artists including Birds of Mind; techno DJ, Patrice Bäumel; and Russian producer, Yulia Niko. The rest are all acclaimed regional artists including Jeddah’s very own Cosmicat and DJ duo Dish Dash.

The festival started in Dubai almost ten years ago and has since held events in all corners of the world from Los Angeles to Ras al Khaimah, Ibiza to Jeddah. Groove on the Grass was also the first international brand to have a licensed event in dance music in Saudi Arabia. If anyone knows how to throw a dance party, it’s them.

Ticket prices start at SAR350 for a one day pass and SAR725 for a two day pass. Grab yours quickly as the first release of tickets have already sold out. Jeddah’s groovers on the grass must be at least 18 years to enter.

If you can’t make this event, there’s plenty of other cool happenings in Saudi Arabia to look forward to this month including AlUla Wellness Festival and Azimuth music festival in AlUla.

Juman Park, King Abdullah Economic City, Jeddah. Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1. 18 years and above. SAR360. Tickets: jeddah.platinumlist.net /grooveonthegrass.ksa
