The Maine is one of Dubai’s most beloved homegrown restaurants, with a trio of award-winning concepts in Dubai and a dazzling outpost in London. And now their creators, The Maine New England Brasserie Company, are expanding into Saudi Arabia, bringing a pop-up of their spectacular The Maine Mayfair to Riyadh Season 2022.
Running for six weeks, The Maine Mayfair pop-up is set to be one of the hottest tickets in town, replicating the elegant brasserie look and feel at its temporary home in the Al Murabaa District. You won’t have long to wait either, as The Maine Mayfair pop-up opens on Thursday November 3.
With space to welcome 120, the same jaw-dropping interiors found in the British capital dominate the aesthetic of the Riyadh iteration. Think wood booths, red velvet curtains, rattan accents and iconic chandeliers that exude the same extravagance of The Maine in London.
On the menu, The Maine signatures sit alongside a new array of brasserie classics, with guests able to dine on a fine selection from the raw bar, premium cuts of meat and fresh seafood cooked-to-order. Initially the restaurant will open for dinner only from 6pm.
But it won’t just be about the menu at this must-visit pop-up. A curation of Maine all-stars will see a selection of renowned jazz musicians and entertainers deliver standout performances to guests as they sip fruity mocktails and dine on The Maine’s well perfected menu.
The line up will see an array of jazz acts perform in the Kingdom for the first time, with guests able to look forward to sets from Iain Mackenzie, Emma Smith, Megan McConnell, Billie and Atila. All promise to transport guests back to the golden era of music, with 1940s and 1950s jazz, swing and blues all on the set list.
