The Saudi Ministry of Culture has opened its first cultural centre, Fenaa Alawwal, in the Diplomatic Quarter. Housed in a white cylindrical edifice with traditional geometric patterns, the cultural and creative hub will offer a wide range of cultural activities, including exhibitions and workshops, and bring together a diverse community of thinkers, creators and leading talents. The centre also includes a library dedicated to art books and a café.

5. Check out Riyadh Season’s new Imagination Park zone

Festival-goers enjoying Riyadh Season’s attractions now have another option – one that will turn cinema fantasy into reality. The new Imagination Park zone offers four immersive adventures based on popular Netflix series, including Squid Game, Stranger Things, Army of the Dead, and La Casa de Papel, as well as models and exhibitions of popular films. There’s also a section for rare luxury cars, a range of shops selling souvenirs from movies and TV shows, and an array of food kiosks.
