Check out the DQ Farmers' Market this Saturday
Grab those tote bags…
Need an activity that’s fun for the entire family? Head on over to the DQ Farmers Market.
The hugely popular concept has been a success in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter since 2019. In its fifth edition now, this open market is the place to be during the weekend.
People of all ages can visit the souq for free. Happening every week on Saturday from 10am to 10pm, the DQ Farmers Market is a hit with locals. You can shop for fresh produce, healthy food, and even potted plants. Sounds super green.

The open market is decked out with fairy lights of all shapes and sizes, artworks on exposed brick walls (so don’t forget to pack up your cameras) and tonnes of seating areas for the shopaholics to rest their feet too.
There’s even a children’s corner for the kiddos, so the mini Picassos can enjoy arty activities like drawing, colouring and painting. Things are about to get a little messy (in the cutest way possible though).

After some more about the trending Saturday market? The DQ Farmers Market also has kiosks where you can shop for designer abayas, and winter coats, and concept stores selling hoodies and t-shirts too. Talk about covering all the bases.
All that shopping got you feeling peckish? There are even a couple of kiosks serving warm snacks like pizzas and fatayers, smoothies, and burgers.
The market aims to introduce small locally owned businesses to the public, these also include online-only stores, speciality cafes, and a few restaurants.
Own a small business? Register for your stall here and introduce your products to the public.
Don’t forget to make a pit stop at the market this weekend. Get ready to shop till you drop.
