French football star Karim Benzema is set to join Ittihad Saudi Club

This just in. The French footie megastar Karim Benzema is set to join Ittihad Saudi Club after his Real Madrid departure.
The 25-time trophy-winning star will join the Saudi Pro League champions Ittihad Saudi Club starting July 1 2023 on a three-year contract which will last until 2026.
Benzema’s achievements include four LaLiga titles, five Champions Leagues, three Copas del Rey, four Spanish Supercopas, four UEFA Super Cups and five FIFA Club World Cups. Sounds mega impressive.

Known for his incredible goal-scoring ability, the winner of the 2022 Ballon d’Or winner has also scored 354 goals for Real Madrid across the 648 matches he’s played.
The striker was Real Madrid’s highest goal-scorer behind Cristiano Ronaldo who also recently joined the Saudi Professional League (SPL) club on a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr Football Club.

Al-Ittihiad is a professional football club based out of Jeddah with the home ground being King Abdullah Sports City. The club is considered as one of the most successful Asian clubs at a domestic and regional level having won AFC Champions League title twice in a row.
The club is the oldest sports club still surviving in Saudi Arabia, as the club was founded in 1927. It’s also one of (if not the) most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia, winning nine league titles , five King’s cup titles, eight Crown Prince Cup titles, three Saudi Federation Cup titles, and one Saudi Super Cup.
Benzema is set to join a team of all-stars here in Saudi, and we can’t wait to see what’s happens out on the green.
