A new Saudi instant e-visa has just been announced

Travel to the Kingdom is set to be much easier…

Saudi Arabia is gearing up to be quite the tourist destination, and to make the journey as easy as possible, a brand-new Saudi instant e-visa has been launched today (June 12).

The new e-visa will help UK, US, and Schengen visa holders and permanent residents of the UK, US, and any European country secure instant tourist visas through mofa.gov.sa.

Requirements for the visa are simple, you’ll need a valid passport, a valid proof of residence or a valid UK, US, and Schengen visa.

The visa can be used throughout the year for events, conferences and exhibitions and Umrah as well provided that is not during Hajj season.

Recently, Saudi Arabia also announced a new free stopover visa which is available to passengers travelling on SAUDIA and flynas flights. The visa is open to a greater number of countries than the tourism e-visa and allows travellers to stay in the country for up to 96 hours.

The new visa announcements also fall in line with Saudi’s vision of reaching 100 million visits annually by 2030.

All the things we’re looking forward to in Saudi

Riyadh will be getting a huge indoor Transformers-themed park and Six Flags Qiddiya which will be situated a short distance away from the city too.

And of course, NEOM will encompass the future of urban living at its flagship development, The LineSaudi Arabia’s revolutionary smart city project plus the very first outdoor ski resort in the GCC called TROJENA and so much more.

So if you haven’t already been, it’s safe to say you need to add Saudi to your bucket list asap.
