From July 6: Gamers8 returns to Riyadh this summer

Gear up for eight weeks of thrilling events, tournaments, and next-level experiences at Gamers8: The Land of Heroes. Watch the world’s elite esports champions and gamers battle it out for $45 million in prizes. Running alongside all esports tournaments will be a wide selection of activities for attendees to enjoy when not watching the competition. The popular Aramco racing simulator returns, and there’s even the chance to experience life-sized Pac-Man and hunt down some ghosts. Last year’s fan-favourite Japamura zone also returns, where you can participate in various immersive workshops or step into the Dojo and learn the basics of Samurai etiquette and sword fighting. And that’s not all. Organised by the Saudi Esports Federation, Gamers8 concerts will also be held every Friday night at Mohammed Abdu Arena at Boulevard Riyadh City for the festival’s eight-week duration. Local favourite and regional hero Rabeh Sager, DJ Alan Walker and DJ Vinyl Mode have already been unveiled as the opening concert night headliners on Friday July 7.
