Riyadh's getting a cool new Em Sherif Sea Cafe

Get ready to feast on Mediterranean classics…

If you’ve been out and about anywhere in the GCC, you’ve likely seen a couple of Em Sherifs around. The popular brand has had remarkable success all over the Middle East, with nearly 20 restaurants across 14 locations, and an Em Sherif Sea Cafe Riyadh is about to be added to that list.

The first Em Sherif opened its doors in 2011 in Ashrafieh, Monot and was born out of Mireille Hayek’s, Em Sherif’s love and passion for cooking. The brand pays homage to traditional Lebanese food and instantly became a staple in Beirut’s dining scene and has since expanded to the UAE, Oman, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Jordan, as well as in Monaco and London.

Em Sherif Sea Cafe Riyadh is set to open its doors in the gorgeous Laysen Valley. This particular brand by Em Sherif currently has three locations in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Beirut, and the one in Riyadh will be the fourth.

It’s in the name, the brand is more focused on Mediterranean and Lebanese-style seafood prepared by only using the freshest ingredients in a relaxed atmosphere. Each of the venues has a fresh fish display where you can pick a catch of your choice and have it cooked your way.

The venue is the perfect place to socialize, eat, and relax after a tough week. We’re looking forward to seeing the signature marble-top tables, luxurious chandeliers, and blue accents throughout the space which make for an incredible ambience here in Riyadh.

We’re expecting classics like the grilled octopus, red and green butterfly fish and shrimp linguine on the Riyadh menu. And while no official opening dates have been revealed, keep checking back for all the latest updates.
