The Saudi Pro League returns on Friday August 11 and with it kicks off one of the most exciting seasons in Saudi Arabia’s football history. During the summer transfer window, several global names have made the switch from their British and European teams to Saudi Arabia. But as well as attracting top international talent, the Saudi Pro League has also expanded from 16 teams to 18, meaning there are more squads than ever competing for the all-important championship.

When does the Saudi Pro League return?
The 2023/2024 season of the Saudi Pro League kicks off on Friday August 11, the same day that the Premier League returns. It will run until May 2024, with a break from mid-December until February 2024 to accommodate the rescheduled Asian Cup.
