Junglesque restaurant Amazonico is an exotic paradise filled with foliage and imagery of exotic animals that previously popped up in Riyadh in 2021. The food is based on Latin American cuisine and features a variety of tender steaks, fresh fish and delicious appetisers. It has restaurants already in Madrid, London and Dubai, so we can’t wait to see what’s to come at Amazonico in Riyadh when it opens in KAFD.

And we’ll soon be able to immerse ourselves in the vibe of a genuine Parisian bistro in KAFD. Bateel will soon unveil the opening of its luxury boutique and award-winning restaurant in KAFD later this year. The new launch provides more options for guests in Saudi Arabia to experience Bateel’s exceptional quality.

Chotto Matte

Those seeking a taste of the Japanese-Peruvian cuisine from Riyadh’s first location of chain Chotto Matte won’t have to wait much longer. Chotto Matte, which means “wait a minute” in Japanese, will soon welcome their first customers in the heart of KAFD. Expect to see bold street art on the walls and a myriad of authentic Nikkei dishes like the best-selling sashimi, shrimp gyoza, and lobster and wild prawn ceviche. The brand is also memorable for its diverse and vibrant atmosphere that suits all types for any occasion.

A staple in the Jeddah dining scene, Kuuru is a Nikkei restaurant that is an ode to Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Look forward to a unique Nikkei bar where you can catch the chefs in action producing inventive nigiri, hand-rolls, ceviche and more. We’re also expecting to see popular menu items like chicken panca truffle, black cod criollo and tiger shrimp anticuchero in the capital too.

Proudly calling itself the first Napoletana pizzeria in Riyadh, La Rustica currently has two branches in Olaya and the Diplomatic Quarter respectively. And it looks like a third location is on its way to KAFD.

La Serre

Dubai-born La Serre entertained diners for a decade before closing its doors. It’s now found in Abu Dhabi, and now, the French restaurant and Boulangerie will head to the Kingdom’s KAFD area. The 500-seater restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor terrace seating, incorporating its popular Boulangerie, viennoiserie and pastries, as well as its finer bistro elements.

Pahli Hill

There is no end to the appetite for Indian cuisine in the capital. And to add to the list of Indian restaurants in Riyadh, London’s Pahli Hill is set to open its doors in KAFD. Named after one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Mumbai, the restaurant takes its cue from the melting pot of regional flavours found in India’s largest city.

Ralph’s Coffee

Al Moajil Hospitality has announced a new franchise partnership with Ralph Lauren International to launch Ralph’s Coffee in Saudi Arabia. The global coffee concept from iconic designer and coffee devotee Ralph Lauren will soon be available at KAFD. It’ll be the perfect place to take a coffee break with beautiful black and white checkered floors, unique café and bench seating, and their signature shade of green, creating an inviting place to sip, snack and shop.

With an ethos that is all about giving back and being passionate about the environment, this healthy food concept will be serving delicious and innovative plant-based cuisine. Expect the menu to be 80 per cent plant-based and 20 per cent seafood, with a focus on seasonal ingredients. With outlets already in Miami, Las Vegas, London, Dubai and Doha, the restaurant blends Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian cuisines. Dishes on the menus in other cities include wagyu gyoza, samba salad, vegetable tempura, crispy lobster taquitos, tiradito, robata grills, and of course, plenty of sushi.

Following on from the arrival of sister restaurant Roka in 2021, Zuma will open a permanent restaurant in Riyadh. Joining Rainer Becker’s Zuma empire of 17 restaurants around the globe, Zuma Riyadh will serve up signature dishes such as marinated black cod, sliced yellowtail and robata skewers.
