Are you brave enough to participate in the Tough Mudder challenge and take on signature obstacles, such as Electroshock Therapy and Artic Enema? Get ready because the world’s most popular mud obstacle course returns to Saudi Arabia next weekend.
Set to take place at Dirab Motor Park in Riyadh on Friday January 5, Tough Mudder Riyadh will welcome thousands of new and returning Mudders to face the ultimate challenge of physical strength, mental grit, stamina, and teamwork.

The categories
Open to all, regardless of ability, Tough Mudder events feature 5K and 10K races, with a separate Tough Mudder Kids competition for those aged between six and 12.
The 5K course, with more than 13 obstacles, is open to those aged 13 and above, while the 10K course features more than 21 obstacles and is open to those aged 14 and over. Participants between 13 and 17 years old must have parental consent and be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the course.
The 2024 edition includes a Tough Mudder Kids course for ages six to 12, featuring a 1.5km obstacle mud run, with more than eight obstacles. Children must be checked in by a parent or guardian who will observe as they run.
The cost
The events vary in cost depending on distance, with the shortest 5K priced at SAR150 and the complete 10K challenges costing SAR200. The Tough Mudder Kids event costs SAR70.

When are the other Tough Mudder events in Saudi Arabia?
Tough Mudder Riyadh is followed two weeks later by an event in Jeddah on Friday January 19, with Tough Mudder returning to King Abdullah Sports Stadium. The world’s leading obstacle and mud run is also heading to Dammam for the first time on Friday February 2 at Khobar Lakes.
Already announced for Saturday February 24 is the inaugural Tough Mudder Infinity AlUla, an eight-hour ultra-endurance competition featuring a prize pot of almost half a million dollars, including the largest single prize in obstacle course racing history.
