Qiddiya reveals a jaw-dropping performing arts centre

This is everything we know so far…

Qiddiya City is one of the most ambitious developments coming to the Kingdom, complete with a glorious water park which just so happens to be the biggest in the region, a massive stadium, and now a stunning Qiddiya Performing Arts Centre has also been revealed.

Promising to be a cultural experience like no other for residents and tourists, the new venue can accommodate up to 3,000 seats across three theatres and is all set to host over 260 indoor and outdoor performances and events every year.

The Performing Arts Centre will serve as an incubator for young Saudi talent, providing educational opportunities and resources to enrich the minds of the next generation of writers, producers, and actors and create thousands of job opportunities in an emerging sector.

Poised to welcome nearly 800,000 people every year, the new venue is nestled perfectly between the Tuwaiq mountains. Each of the theatres will offer a 360 experience. Look forward to a cantilevered amphitheatre offering breathtaking views of the City’s lower plateau while a fully adaptable 500-seat venue is suspended from above.

Beyond the performances, the theatre will take on the role of a vibrant community hub, inviting guests to check out dining, retail, and educational entertainment options. You can also stroll through the rooftop sky garden, art galleries, and green spaces.

Further down, you can look forward to the promenade walk that extends across the Tuwaiq cliffs which will lead to a shaded section beneath the centre offering a viewing platform across the City.

Currently under construction, the first of the Qiddiya attractions are expected to be completed in 2025 and include Aquarabia and Six Flags Qiddiya City.
