Establishing itself as a vibrant hub in Dubai where all foodie, retail, and culture-focused experiences blend together in the most seamless way, The Lighthouse first opened its doors back in 2017. Founded by Hashem Montasser and Hany Bassiouny, the concept is inspired by Virginia Woolf and the other Bloomsbury Group members.
The group were a collective of writers, painters, and intellectuals who got together at the British author’s house for camaraderie and conversation in the first half of the 20th century.

The brand first opened its doors in Dubai’s Design District then expanded across Mall of the Emirates, Nakheel Mall, and Yas Bay Waterfront.
The idea comes from wanting to bridge together food, creativity, and design. The restaurant aims to be a dining destination and a hub for local creatives.
The Lighthouse in Dubai combines food, gifting, and events all under one roof, and provides the guests with a creative atmosphere that features commissioned art but also design pieces.
At the Riyadh space, we’re expecting a kicked-back vibe in a casual upscale setting. On the menu look out for Spaghetti Pomodoro, Steak and Fries, and Veal Milanese.
While the opening date hasn’t been announced yet, stay tuned to What’s On for the latest.
