Just in: Eminem to headline MDLBeast SoundStorm 2024
Guess who’s back?
The news is out. Rapper Eminem will headline the MDLBEast SoundStorm 2024 this December.
Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known by his stage name Eminem and by his alter ego Slim Shady, will be performing in Saudi Arabia for the first time.
However, it’s not his first trip out in the Kingdom. The Grammy-winning artist was last spotted in Riyadh for the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Champions Gala on the night before the big fight.

The exact date of his performance at SoundStorm 2024 has yet to be confirmed, but watch this space as soon as we have more updates.
Shady’s back, tell a friend…
Apart from being one of the best-selling artists in music history, Eminem is one of the greatest rappers of his generation: effortlessly fast, fluid, dexterous, and unpredictable, capable of pulling off long-form narratives or withering asides. And thanks to his mentor Dr Dre, he’s had music to match.

Em’s debut studio album, ‘The Slim Shady LP’, dropped in 1999 and peaked at No. 2, while lead single “My Name Is” reached No. 36. Sophomore album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ was a massive hit, holding the No. 1 spot for eight weeks. Single “Lose Yourself” (from his 2002 biographical film ‘8 Mile’ in which he starred) became his first Hot 100 No. 1, staying atop the chart for 12 weeks, and won the Grammy for best rap song and Oscar for best original song.
And now, he’s back in his bag on a new album, “The Death of Slim Shady”. And when Slim Shady drops, it’s all eyes on him… The latest LP from the rap god features a cornucopia of name-drops of his fellow rappers and dozens of public figures.
Eminem last toured in early 2019, and has only done certain appearances since then to perform his music. One of them was the 2022 Super Bowl, where he performed amongst 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and Mary J. Blige.
All nine of his albums released this century so far, including three since 2017, have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. “Houdini,” which came out in June, opened at No. 2 on the Hot 100 singles chart, his best solo showing since 2010.
We’re definitely looking forward to enjoying a string of his biggest hits live, as well as songs from his latest album.
