NU Metal Night at Makan Pro

This weekend, metalheads it’s your time to shine. Makan Music Centre is going to be hosting a NU Metal Night where you can share your favorite song on stage.

Jeddah party people, get excited because Balad Social is back. Nightlife institution MDLBeast is bringing back the dancefloor to Jeddah’s historic Al-Balad with an all-new intimate music gathering known as the ‘Lobby Edition’. This little soiree will take place on Thursday July 18 from 10pm to 3am, but it will be at a different, exclusive location this time. Hint: It will be an indoor venue. Performing artists include Dish Dash, Future Loop, and Samm.

Walk through a new exhibition

There’s a cool exhibition in town at everyone’s favourite arty venue, Hayy Jameel. Curated by Ahmed Alaqraa and Abdulrahman Shabaneh, the exhibition is titled ‘Salt-Kissed: Of Vessels That Have Sailed The Red Sea.’ The exhibition explores a collection of untold narratives anchored by the stories of eight ships that once sailed the Red Sea bearing witness to the idiosyncrasies within its swarming body.

One of Jeddah’s favourite matcha places is back on the map. Son of a Bee is back with a brand-new location on Stars Avenue. The new location now offers a lot more on the menu including more sweet treats, cocktails, and savoury breakfast items, including their usual Matcha-oriented drinks and speciality coffee.
