You can soon fly direct to Phuket from Riyadh and Jeddah

Thinking of a Phuket holiday? You can soon jet away to the fun-filled destination in Southern Thailand on Saudia.
The Kingdom’s national flag carrier has announced plans to commence flights to Phuket from Monday December 2, making it the second Thai city in its roster after Bangkok.
Those looking to discover the tropical paradise can look forward to three-weekly flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from Jeddah, while weekly flights from Riyadh depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Passengers will be able to jet off from Terminal 1 of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah at 1.45am and arrive in Phuket at 1.45pm, with the journey taking eight hours. Meanwhile, the return flight will take nine hours, running direct non-stop at 11.45pm Phuket time, arriving in Jeddah at 4.45am the following morning.
For those travelling from the capital city, the flight will take seven hours and five minutes, departing at 11.25am from Terminal 4 of King Khalid International Airport and arriving at 10.30pm in Phuket. The return flight takes an hour longer, too, with the direct flight taking off at 3.20pm (local time) from Phuket, arriving in Riyadh at 7.25pm (local time).
Ticket prices for guest basic class on Saudia start from SAR2,302 for trips from Jeddah to Phuket and SAR1,899 from Riyadh. Bookings are available through Saudia’s website and mobile app.
