Flights will operate twice a week, every Thursday and Saturday…
Thinking of jetting off to The Red Sea? For those seeking a pampering break or are planning your next holiday with family and friends, the experience just got better.
Low-cost airline flynas is now offering the first direct connection from the Eastern Province to The Red Sea destination, situated on Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast.
The new flights will operate twice weekly between Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport and Red Sea International Airport (RSI) on Thursdays and Saturdays.
The carrier will only have one flight departing from Dammam at 3.05pm and arriving in RSI at 5.45pm, with the journey taking around two hours and forty minutes. Meanwhile, the return flight will only take a mere two hours and five minutes, departing for Dammam at 6.30pm and arriving at 8.35pm.
Light fares start from SAR618 with one carry-on bag, and the recommended Value fares start at SAR740, which includes one carry-on bag and 20 kilograms of checked-in luggage. Need more checked-in luggage space and extra seat legroom? You can top up SAR200 for the Plus fares.
Bookings are now available through the flynas website and mobile app.
Whether you’re after a taste of luxury island living and crystalline turquoise waters or looking to experience the unspoiled natural landscapes, The Red Sea – the first of Saudi Arabia’s gigaprojects to welcome guests – is now just a short flight away from Dammam.
Since September 2023, The Red Sea destination has been welcoming guests to five of its world-class resorts, with regular schedule of domestic flights operated by Saudia.
In 2024, RSI marked another milestone by receiving its first international flight from Dubai International Airport, operated by flydubai.
Upon project completion in 2030, The Red Sea destination will comprise 50 resorts, offering up to 8,000 hotel rooms and more than 1,000 residential units across 22 islands and six inland sites. It will also feature luxury marinas, golf courses, a diverse range of dining options, and entertainment facilities.
So, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags and get ready to explore The Red Sea.
