The AlFursan Endurance AlUla horse races are coming back

The historical city of AlUla will be the backdrop of yet another stunning sporting event very soon. Welcoming one of the Gulf region’s most prominent endurance events next month, the AlFursan Endurance AlUla 2025, the city is set to be abuzz with excitement. 

Happening from Friday February 7 to Sunday February 9, the elite endurance will include the 120-kilometre Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup (CEI 2) and the 160-kilometre Al Mutadil Endurance Cup (CEI 1).

Attracting 250 riders from around the world to AlUla, the races are organised by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU). The courses aim to provide a unique and exciting challenge for the riders, testing their endurance, skill, and determination over the two demanding trails.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup will feature the largest prize pool in the event’s history, with SAR15 million on offer, while the Al Mutadil Endurance Cup will be contested for a prize pool of SAR5 million.

Currently in its sixth edition, the races showcase the pinnacle of endurance riding, featuring elite riders and their horses, in a test of strength, speed, and resilience across two days.

Passes for the incredible tournament are already on sale and cost SAR30 for daily entry and SAR50 for a two-day pass. Both passes include complimentary parking.

The event will be hosted as part of the AlUla Moments 2024 to 2025 calendar, which also features Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo, AlUla Trail Race, Winter at Tantora, and the Maraya Classical Concerts series.
