Riyadh's first Art House Cinema is now open
Film buffs, look alive…
Riyadh is a city that’s full of film buffs, and Saudi film producer Faisal Baltyuor is about to make all those dreams come true with the launch of his all-new passion project. Roll out the red carpet for Cinehouse Riyadh.
Celebrating all things cinema and theatre, the first Arthouse Cinema, the venue will also be hiring and nurturing Saudi talent, which is a key pillar of the Cinehouse vision.

Cinehouse Riyadh will also be serving as a centre for international and local filmmakers alike to mentor the ever-growing talent in the Kingdom, to solidify its commitment to make the venue a space where local talent is both celebrated and developed.
Fully equipped with three screening rooms, all designed to provide an intimate setting. providing a high-end cinematic environment, and a curated menu created by a Saudi chef, the venue promises to be a creative and immersive environment that he was looking for all along.
The first screening in the theatre will be showing an informative 1975 documentary, ‘Development of Riyadh City,’ by Saudi director Abdullah Al-Muheisen.
Baltyuor, who has been involved in some of Saudi Arabia’s most successful titles, including critically acclaimed Netflix hits, wanted to create a space that he’s always needed. His popular works include ‘From the Ashes,’ ‘Within Sand,’ and ‘Slave.”
The cinema is divided into three halls, including hall one, which seats 18, hall two, which seats 26, and hall three, which seats 30, each equipped with a 4k laser projector and an atmos sound system. There will also be a fine dining experience and a coffee shop too.
Movies currently on show include ‘Home Alone’, ‘Interstellar’, ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘Bye Bye Tiberias’, ‘It Must Be Heaven’, ‘Barry London’, ‘Casablanca’, ‘Hobal’, and ‘Maria.’
