Check out the Korean Film Week in Riyadh
The event is happening until Thursday January 23…
After the first Arthouse Cinema in Riyadh opened earlier this month, Riyadh’s been all about its films, and the Film Commission always knocks it out of the park with its initiatives. And right now, we’re welcoming the Korean Film Week in Riyadh as part of one of them.
The event will unfold at the newly opened Cinehouse Riyadh and offer a unique cinematic experience, showcasing the richness of Korean culture and enhancing cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and Korea.

Movie screenings to catch include Parasite, Cobweb, Concrete Utopia, The Moon, I, and The Executioner. We’re also looking forward to engaging dialogue sessions that will focus on topics such as “The Global Appeal of Korean Cinema” and the impact of Korean culture on cinema. There will also be seminars featuring film directors and international experts to further promote understanding, interaction, and cultural communication, solidifying global connections.
Cinehouse Riyadh serves as a centre for international and local filmmakers alike to mentor the ever-growing talent in the Kingdom and to solidify its commitment to make the venue a space where local talent is both celebrated and developed.
The cinema is divided into three halls, including hall one, which seats 18, hall two, which seats 26, and hall three, which seats 30, each equipped with a 4k laser projector and an atmos sound system. There will also be a fine dining experience and a coffee shop.
