Get ready for Aquarabia’s opening weekend as it makes a grand debut

Saudi Arabia’s largest water theme park opens with record-breaking rides, live performances, and three days of splash-filled celebrations for all

The wait is over. Aquarabia, Saudi Arabia’s largest water theme park in Qiddiya City, is officially opening its doors – and the three-day launch is packed with energy, music, and family fun.

Here’s your ultimate day-by-day guide during the opening weekend.

Aquarabia

Thursday April 23: Grand opening

It all kicks off at 12pm, as Aquarabia officially welcomes guests for the first time. Expect a lively crowd, plenty of buzz, and live performances throughout the day. On the ‘Wave Wadi’ stage, Saudi stars Ayed Yousef and Zena Emad headline the celebrations. In between, there’s plenty of time to explore, whether that means heading straight for the high-speed slides or easing into the day by the wave pool.

Friday April 24: Ladies-only day

Friday brings a more exclusive experience, dedicated entirely to women and children. The park will be run by an all-female team, with a programme that includes a live performance by Zena Emad and a fashion show by Lanuuk. Doors open at 12pm, making it the perfect day for a relaxed yet lively outing.

Saturday April 25: Splash Fest

Saving the biggest celebration for last, Saturday’s “Splash Fest” is all about family fun. Expect interactive activities, entertainment for all ages, and a buzzing festival vibe across the park. The highlight of the night? A headline performance by Fouad Abdulwahed on the ‘Wave Wadi’ stage.

Aquarabia

Aquarabia is not just about the opening weekend, though. There’s plenty here to fill an entire day.

There are more than 20 rides to work your way through, along with 24 places to eat and seven retail spots for anything you forgot to pack – or didn’t know you needed.

If you’re planning to spend the whole day here, there are a few extras worth considering. Private cabanas offer a quieter place to recharge, while the Aqua Fast Pass lets you skip the longer queues. There’s even a surfing experience if you’re up for trying something new.
