It's confirmed: Aquarabia is finally opening to the public

After all the hype, Aquarabia is opening its doors to everyone from April 23

Is there a better way to beat the heat than cooling off at a water park?

After weeks of anticipation (and a soft opening that had everyone talking), Aquarabia is officially opening ticket sales to the general public from Thursday April 23, which means you can finally plan that splashy day out.

Located in Qiddiya City, Aquarabia is touted as the first-of-its-kind water theme park in Saudi Arabia and the largest in the region. And from what we’ve seen so far, it’s not exactly holding back.

Expect large-scale attractions and immersive aquatic environments you won’t find anywhere else in the Kingdom.

Spanning 250,000 square metres across eight uniquely themed zones, each inspired by the native wildlife and landscapes of Saudi Arabia, Aquarabia features 22 unique rides and experiences, plus four world-record-breaking attractions.

Aquarabia Wave Wadi

Whether you’re racing your friends down gravity-defying slides, drifting along a lazy river or claiming your spot by the giant wave pool with snacks in hand, the brand-new water park offers a wide range of attractions for people of all ages.

And if you’re not keen on getting soaked, you’re still sorted. Seven attractions at Aquarabia are dry rides, meaning you can get in on the action without fully committing to the splash.

Plus, with 24 food and beverage outlets dotted across the park, you can snack, sip and refuel your way through the day.

There are also seven retail stores on-site, so whether you forgot your sunscreen, need a last-minute swimsuit or just want a souvenir, you’re covered.

The best part? You no longer need an invite or preview access – just a ticket and a willingness to get absolutely soaked.

Standard entry (for visitors aged 12 and above) is priced at SAR275 on weekdays and SAR295 on Saturdays, while junior tickets (ages four to 11) are set at SAR200. Kids under 4 enjoy complimentary access to the park.

Meanwhile, Fridays are reserved for ladies only, with tickets priced at SAR350, and Friday April 24 marks the very first ladies-only day.

Guests can also take advantage of a 15 per cent discount when booking their tickets at least five days in advance of their visit.

Each ticket allows entry to the park and all rides and attractions, except surfing, which is an additional experience available for purchase at the park.

Want to claim your own little base for the day? There are 91 luxury cabanas available as an in-park upgrade.

And for those who don’t fancy queueing in the heat, the AquaFast Pass lets you skip the lines and make the most of every ride.

So, grab the swimsuits, roll up the beach towels, and get ready for a full-day activity. Whether it’s your toddler’s first splash or your fiftieth flume ride, Aquarabia is going to be worth the drive.
