The first-ever Aquarabia ladies' day is happening tomorrow

Girls’ party?

It’s finally here. The day we’ve all been waiting for. Today, the largest water theme park in the Middle East is finally open. After a stellar soft opening phase (that we got to enjoy; read our experience here), the park is opening with a big splash today, followed closely by the first-ever Aquarabia ladies’ day tomorrow.

Like we said, tomorrow (Friday April 24) will be the first-ever Aquarabia ladies’ day, after which, every Friday will be a ladies’ only day.

Who’s/What’s allowed?

So, obviously, men aren’t allowed. Only women and children under the age of eight are allowed. On ladies’ day, women are allowed to wear one-piece swimsuits as opposed to the regular minimum coverage, sleeveless, knee-length swimsuits.

What’s going down?

Dedicated entirely to women and children. The park will be run by an all-female team, with a programme that includes a live performance by Zena Emad and a fashion show by Lanuuk. Doors open at 12pm, making it the perfect day for a relaxed yet lively outing.

Beyond the glitz and glamour of the performances and the fashion shows, there are more than 20 rides to work your way through, along with 24 places to eat and seven retail spots for anything you forgot to pack – or didn’t know you needed.

How can you get there?

No one to drop you off? Don’t worry about it. Make your way to the following Riyadh Metro stations:

  • Jeddah Road Station
  • stc Metro Station

From there, you can catch the Qiddiya Bus service, which is fast and free for visitors with valid theme park tickets. The buses depart from the stations every 30 minutes from 2pm to 9pm, and the service also extends to dropping you off at the same stations from 6pm to 1am.
