The Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale 2026 presents the Tours & Treasure Hunts experience for curious young explorers.
Instead of quietly wandering through galleries, kids can now follow clues, hunt for hidden details, and turn their visit into a full-on adventure.
Biennale Treasure Hunt: Transforming the exhibition into an interactive trail
Participants follow 10 questions that guide them through the galleries, encouraging close observation, careful searching and the discovery of surprises tucked between artworks.
It’s part puzzle, part discovery, and far more engaging than a typical gallery visit.
The experience begins digitally, with clues accessed on a tablet, before moving to the gallery floor, where young visitors must explore the artworks to find the answers.
Every step becomes part of the adventure, turning curiosity into discovery and encouraging kids to engage with contemporary art in a more playful way.

Rather than rushing through the exhibition, the treasure hunt invites families to take their time and notice the details – colours, shapes, textures and hidden elements that might otherwise be overlooked.
It’s an easy way to make art feel accessible, interactive and genuinely enjoyable for younger audiences.
Whether you’re planning a weekend outing, a cultural day out with the kids, or simply looking for something different to do in Diriyah, this interactive treasure hunt offers a fresh way to explore the Biennale – and might just turn little visitors into budding art detectives along the way.
