Spring has most definitely sprung, and while rain is on the way for the rest of Saudi Arabia, Yanbu is decked out in all the colours under the sun. And we’re, of course, talking about the gorgeous Yanbu Flower and Garden Festival 2026 that’s happening right now.
Now in its 16th edition, the Yanbu Flower and Garden Festival 2026 will run until Thursday April 23, bringing a much-needed touch of colour into our lives (or at least our screens for now). This annual extravaganza transforms the coastal city of Yanbu into a mesmerising show of colours, drawing visitors from across the regions to witness the blooming spectacle.
Featuring a wide array of community events, creative national initiatives, educational workshops for children, and captivating performances by acclaimed artists, the festival aims to promote environmental sustainability.
This year’s edition is all set to showcase local and international arts through a variety of activities, including a diverse program designed to appeal to all age groups. According to Arab News, visitors can look forward to enjoying a variety of interactive and recreational zones, including a bird garden, a flower village, a boulevard area, and an illuminated flowers area.
Expect colourful floral displays, interactive attractions, live performances, and plenty of family-friendly activities, all set in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re there for the perfect photos or a leisurely day out, it’s an event to add to your April plans.
Of course, it’s worth going alone for the abundant display of beautiful flowers overflowing with scent and colours. After all, the festival has previously secured multiple entries in the Guinness World Records, including for the world’s largest flower carpet.
