Freaks of Araveia drops this coming weekend in Diriyah, Riyadh. See Europe’s rising stars, including Seth Hills, Mesto, Kaaze, and Toby Romeo, perform alongside the best from Saudi Arabia over two nights on three stages. A packed line-up of local artists featuring Dish Dash, Cosmicat, Sound of Yaz, RDJ, Rash and Igniter lead a showcase of emerging Saudi talent. Freaks of Araveia will also present live shows and exhibitions from local artists and designers, with pop-up stores, merchandise, food trucks and many more.

November 3 to 19: Be dazzled by the light art installations across the capital

Experience an exciting array of light installations and interactive artworks scattered around 40 locations across the capital at the Noor Riyadh Festival – from immersive site-specific installations, monumental public artworks and ephemeral sculptures to art trails and virtual reality. Spanning over 17 days, the much anticipated second edition will see the festival triple in size and showcase over 120 installations by more than 100 Saudi and international artists.

November 5: Get ready for an epic fight
WWE presents its fourth Crown Jewel in Riyadh, headlined by a high-profile Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. The upcoming event will also see Bobbly Lashley go head-to-head with Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre take on Karrion Kross in a brutal steel cage match. Meanwhile, the recently re-formed tag team trio The O.C. will go to war with The Judgement Day as AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson band together to take on Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. November 10: Sing along as OneRepublic belts out their biggest hits

If the songs Counting Stars and Love Runs Out get your toes tapping, then you’ll be excited to hear that the band behind the hits, OneRepublic, will be performing in AlUla. Since 2002, the American pop-rock band has been producing a string of iconic hits such as Wanted, Rescue Me, Apologise and Stop and Stare. You can catch all these and more when they take the stage at the dazzling Maraya Hall.

November 10 to 12: Watch some of the world’s greatest lady golfers take the stage at KAEC
Don’t miss your chance to witness the return of the Aramco Team Series (ATS). The final event of the tournament played on the Ladies European Tour will once again take place at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City, about 100 kilometres north of Jeddah. Some of the champs set to appear at the final leg of golf’s global series include the 2021 ATS Jeddah individual winner Pia Babnik, the 2022 ATS London individual winner Bronte Law, and the 2021 ATS Sotogrande individual winner, Alison Lee. Solheim Cup Captain Suzann Pettersen, Charley Hull, Georgia Hall, Olivia Cowan, Anne Van Dam, Annabel Dimmock and Marianne Skarpnord, among others, will also tee it up at Royal Greens. Start your journey inside the Fan Village and experience activities for the whole family, with performances by live local musicians, a variety of food and drinks, and opportunities to get close to the action-packed golf or enjoy the Ladies’ Day on Friday November 11. November 11: See a Legend at the iconic Maraya Hall

Megastar John Legend is also coming to AlUla to perform a one-off concert at the stunning Maraya Hall. Legend’s hits include Ordinary People, Love Me Now and All of Me, which have topped global charts and have broken numerous records. A wildly energetic performer, the American singer, songwriter, pianist, and record producer splits his time performing gentle ballads on the piano and dancing animatedly on stage, showing his unique and wide-ranging personality.

Throughout November: Check out a gorgeous new rooftop lounge at Shangri-La Jeddah
Kaia is the name of a new rooftop lounge brought to you by Shangri-La Jeddah hotel. The dreamy space overlooks Jeddah Waterfront and is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the Red Sea with great company, a lively ambience, and delicious bites. The lounge will also provide guests with live entertainment every night, including uplifting electronica beats from the resident DJ.

Another expertly curated festival, Desert Sound Entertainment brings a varied, talent-rich line-up to its electronic music event in Riyadh every year. The festival mixes sets from electronic legends with current genre leaders and buzz-worthy up-and-comers, providing party-starting beats for people to get down to. You can expect amazing international and local artists, such as Juan Hansen, MOA, Haffs, Dunes, Narkbeat and Vinyl Mode, on November 17, while Innellea, NØFOTO, Ant, Mesh, and Dish Dash will take to the stage on November 18.

Couture meets culture at the Saudi Fashion Exhibit, which is part of the King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture – Ithra’s fifth edition of Tanween, the Kingdom’s leading creative platform. Here, it’s not just about discovering the work of some of the brightest young creatives from the Kingdom but about their innovative concepts and exquisite craftsmanship. All of this is illustrated through an assortment of fashion garments, jewellery, and bags inspired by the personal legacy and tradition of Saudi designers.

November 28 to 30: Pop by MDLBeast’s annual music conference, XP Music Futures

The XP Music Futures conference will be held this end-November with various interactive workshops and discussions about the regional music scene. This year’s edition of the conference will feature more than 40 industry professionals from diverse backgrounds, including record labels, music executives, and the music business. Amongst the speakers confirmed are singer, DJ, and producer Cassy, ex-member of the electronic music trio ‘Major Lazer’ Jillionaire, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label owner, Mathew Jonson, Mathew Knowles, the architect of Destiny’s Child, and Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter Elyanna.
