The first phase of Riyadh Buses has launched

The Riyadh Buses are officially leaving the stations at 15 of the 86 officially announced routes. Get on board.

Part of a five-phase plan, phase one encompasses operating 340 buses and serving 633 bus stops and stations. Once fully launched, the service will cover 1,900 kilometres with over 2,900 bus stations and stops served by more than 800 buses.
Tickets for the Riyadh Buses have been launched as well, and you can get one for costs SAR4 (yes, that low). Upon purchase, the ticket will be valid for 120 minutes or two hours. If you want to purchase multiple tickets, you can get a darb card as part of the digital wallet.

You can also get tickets by downloading the Riyadh Bus app. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play. Or, you can also use contactless payment methods like a bank debit card or credit card to pay for your trip.
The buses run on ultra-low-sulfur fuel making them environmentally friendly as it reduces air pollution and CO2 emissions. Meaning that they fit right in with the sustainability of Vision 2030.
With a goal to provide comfortable, affordable and time-saving transportation, the Riyadh Buses are set to be popular.
Additionally, the buses will also be aiding in easing traffic congestion on the streets by providing accessible transport for everyone, from youth to the elderly, those with special needs, and families alike.
