3 food trucks rolling through Riyadh that are worth tracking down
No fancy seating here. It’s all about the fantastic food…
Who doesn’t enjoy a good food truck? If you’re looking for some delicious meals-on-wheels and goodness-to-go, we’ve got you covered.
Here are our top three favourites in Riyadh.
The 60 Pasta

Pasta lovers would agree that we should be able to get our hands on a good bowl of pasta no matter where we are. At The 60 Pasta, simply choose your sauce from Arrabbiata to Alfredo or a mix of both, with the option to add toppings like mushrooms, chicken, shrimps, extra cheese, or even chilli flakes for that spicy kick. Love your carbs a little too much? You could also have your pasta served in a bread bowl. Best come hungry for that one.
Track ‘em down: This food truck tends to roam around a lot so if you’re looking to find out where it is popping up next, give them a call, or simply type in ‘The60Pasta’ into Google Maps. Last seen location: Ad Diriyah, Al Malqa, Coordinates: QHGG+P5, daily 8.15pm onwards. Tel: 056 824 7558. @the60pasta
Streat

Getting a quality Philly cheesesteak may seem like a tall order all the way in Saudi Arabia, but one food truck is filling that void for us here in Riyadh. As its motto implies – “Best Philly Outside Philly” – Streat boasts a menu that includes everything from Philly cheesesteaks, of course, to chicken sandwiches and cheese fries. Sizzling, ooey-gooey cheesesteak sandwiches with tender, perfectly seasoned meats – that’s exactly what is served up fresh and hot, on the daily, inside this food truck.
Track ‘em down: Panorama Mall carpark (in front of Huna), Takhassusi Branch Rd, Al Mathar Ash Shamali, Riyadh 12332, daily 6pm to 2am. Tel: 050 005 3864.@eat.streat
Food On Board

There are morning people, and then, there are well… non-morning people. With that in mind, Food On Board sure knows how to boost your morning mood with its all-day breakfast food, a staple for the surrounding community. They specialise in wraps and sandwiches, stuffed with deliciousness. And by deliciousness, we mean a choice of veggies, tasty sauces, cheese, and proteins like eggs, chicken fillet or beef mortadella – an excellent daytime option that’s large enough to satisfy but not so massive that it ruins a whole day. It was tough to narrow the menu down to one meal, so we encourage you to eat at this food truck multiple times.
Track ‘em down: Digital City, Daeri AlTaqneeyah Road, An Nakheel, Riyadh 11564, Coordinates: PJRM+PQ, Sun to Thurs 7.30am to 3pm. Tel: 050 484 8059.@fonbksa
