Sunday March 2

Check out Art of the Kingdom: Poetic Illuminations

After a successful run in Rio de Janeiro, the Museums Commission announced that “Art of the Kingdom: Poetic Illuminations,” will be making its way to the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art at JAX District. Happening until Thursday April 24, the exhibition is the first travelling group exhibition of Saudi contemporary artists. Showcasing works by 17 prominent Saudi artists from different generations, regions, and artistic practices. From paintings to installations and video works, the artworks shed light on Saudi Arabia’s history, collective memory, and cultural traditions.

Head to Boulevard World

Boulevard World’s sprawling site, with more than a dozen pavilions dedicated to different countries and regions. There are five pavilions to look forward to this year: Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Africa, and Courchevel. During the first 10 days of Ramadan, enjoy amazing experiences for only SAR10 each. The offer includes rides, your entry ticket, parking, and a cable car. Constructed in just 82 days, Boulevard World is considered Riyadh Season’s largest and most ambitious project to date. This is where you want to go to experience a world of culture without ever leaving the shiny capital.

Check out Riyadh Oases

Located on Riyadh’s Tahlia Street, Foodsphere is part of the Riyadh Oases Network, which is set to be built across numerous neighborhoods in the Kingdom. Spanning 11,000 square metres, FoodSphere features three indoor zones: The Apiary, The Biosphere, and The Oasis. Outdoor areas include beautifully landscaped gardens, cafes, restaurants, and walkways. FoodSphere is the first of eight planned oases, strategically located throughout Riyadh in the coming years.

Wednesday March 5

Explore Sports Boulevard

The Board of Directors of the Sports Boulevard Foundation, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, just announced the opening of the first phase of the Sports Boulevard Project in Riyadh. First announced back in early 2019, once completed, the project will be connecting Hanifah Valley in the west with Wadi Al Sulai Valley in the east.

The landmark project includes five key destinations: Wadi Hanifah, the Promenade, the section at the intersection of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Road and Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Al-Awwal Road, the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University internal loop, and the first phase of Sands Sports Park.
