So…what’s the deal with our days off?

Eid Al-Adha 2025 is nearly upon us, and we are massively excited about the holiday that it brings. While the Kingdom is yet to announce its version of the holidays, these are the Eid Al-Adha 2025 holidays in the GCC.

Some countries are set to enjoy some nice long holidays during Eid Al Adha this year, and we’ve rounded up the holiday dates to see who is getting what so far…

Eid Al Adha in Saudi Arabia

Eid Al Adha 2025, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is expected to come up on Friday June 6, with Arafat Day happening a day earlier on Thursday June 5. The exact holidays haven’t been announced just yet, but we’ll let you know when they are.

Eid Al Adha in Oman

The Sultanate of Oman will observe the first day of Eid Al Adha on Friday, June 6, 2025. The astronomical indicator confirm that Wednesday, May 28, will be the first day of Dhul Hijjah, following which the Day of Arafah will fall on Thursday, June 5, and Eid Al Adha will begin on Friday, June 6.

Eid Al Adha in Qatar

Qatar has announced a five day break for Eid Al Adha 2025 and public holidays for the festival will begin on the ninth day of Dhul Hijjah, which is also known as Arafah Day which is predicted to be on Thursday, June 5.

Eid Al Adha in Kuwait

Kuwait has announced that Eid Al Adha is predicted to fall on Friday, June 6, according to astronomical projections by the Al Ojairi Scientific Center.

Eid Al Adha in the UAE

According to What’s On Dubai, if Eid Al Adha falls from a Thursday to Sunday, it looks like the country will only get four days off during Eid Al Adha if it does fall from June 5 to 8, 2025.
