WWE is bringing the Elimination Chamber to Jeddah
Tickets are now on sale…
Wrestling fans, here’s an event you’ll want to know about: WWE is bringing the Elimination Chamber to Jeddah later this month, and tickets are now on sale. On Saturday February 19, the annual Elimination Chamber event will be held at the Jeddah Superdome, recognised as the world’s largest pillarless Superdome.
Tickets start from SAR50 for entry level tickets, ranging up to SAR900 for VVIP tickets that guarantee the best seats in the house for catching all the action. The event is open to all those aged four and above, although to guarantee entry you’ll need to have “immue” health status on the Tawakkalna app. Tickets are available via ticketmx.com.
The Jeddah showdown will feature “The All Mighty” WWE Champion Bobby Lashley who will defend his title against “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, Riddle, Austin Theory, AJ Styles and Seth “Freakin” Rollins inside the Elimination Chamber.
The Elimination Chamber Match will begin with two competitors in the ring and four other competitors enclosed in their respective pods. Every five minutes, a pod door will open, allowing another competitor to join the contest. This process will continue until all pods are empty. When a Superstar is pinned or submits, that Superstar is eliminated and must exit the Chamber. The last Superstar remaining will be the WWE Champion.
Also announced for Elimination Chamber, Becky Lynch will undertake an extreme challenge when she attempts to retain the Raw Women’s Championship against WWE Hall of Famer Lita.
The upcoming wrestling event produced by WWE is the 12th Elimination Chamber to take place globally, but marks the first time this particular event has come to Saudi Arabia. Previous Elimination Chamber events have taken place in Florida in 2021, Pennsylvania in 2020 and Texas in 2019.
This marks the seventh pay-per-view event that WWE has held in Saudi Arabia since it began hosting events in the Kingdom in 2018. In November 2019 WWE announced an expanded partnership with Saudi General Entertainment Authority that would bring large scale events to the country through until 2027.
In February 2020, the third and final WWE Super Showdown took place at the Mohammed Abdu Arena on the Boulevard in Riyadh, while the 2021 Crown Jewel was hosted at the same venue in October 2021.
