From Monte Carlo to Riyadh: Beefbar opens its first restaurant in Saudi Arabia
Beefbar Riyadh opens today (June 29) in Sulimaniyah…
In the mood to devour a juicy steak surrounded by chic and elegant décor? Then Beefbar, a Monte Carlo-import to hit Riyadh’s food scene, is the place for you.
With outposts in Paris, Saint Tropez, Hong Kong, Rome, Mykonos, and Dubai, to name a few, Beefbar Riyadh – located just next to Latin American restaurant COYA – opens its doors today (June 29).
What to expect at Beefbar Riyadh?
Beefbar’s focus is, well, beef. Created by Riccardo Giraudi (also known by his cheeky Instagram eponym, the ‘Beefboy’), Beefbar offers a street food fine-dining concept that aims to break the classic codes often associated with steakhouses as we know them.

A look on Beefbar Riyadh’s Instagram shows a stunning interior with an art deco brasserie feel that seems to be a perfect balance between refined and relaxed.
A central location in the Sulimaniyah area, green marble tabletops, ample group-friendly seating, quirky emoji-printed plates – the restaurant has plenty of personalities, and yet, it is cosy, warm and welcoming, and sophisticated all at once.
What’s on the menu?
As the name suggests, Beefbar is a brand that does what it says very well – serving cuts of meat that have been meticulously sourced, cooked, and seasoned to perfection. Discover the best cuts and origins, from black Angus from Argentina and USA to Australian wagyu and Japanese Kobe.
The menu, based on simplicity and quality ingredients, blends flavours from around the world. It is divided into a street food section to be considered as starters and a comfort food section for mains. The street food section is divided into leaf (vegetarian), beef and reef (seafood) items, while the mains are divided into the types of cooking, such as grilled or barbequed.
And if Beefbar Dubai’s menu is anything to go by, you can prepare yourself for more decadent, lavish, and of course, meaty dishes to hit Riyadh.
So, take your seat in the dining room and enjoy an array of cuisines and flavours such as prime steaks, kebabs, gyozas, Sandos, pappardelle ragu, and the double cheeseburger made with black Angus and wagyu.
Those with a more refined palate may opt for the delicate tuna tartare on crispy rice, while a decent selection of vegetarian offerings are also available.
Beefbar Riyadh operates under Modern Food Company, which also owns COYA Riyadh, Crazy Pizza, Billionaire Riyadh, Myazu, and Urth Caffe.
