Managed and operated by Leylaty Group, the famed restaurant will take over the space of Al Mirkaz to serve creative and traditional French cuisine.

Al Mirkaz will be wholly transformed into a sleek and refined interior to provide the full experience expected from this Paris institution.

Diners can tuck into a range of French dishes featuring fish, meat, and salads. Highlights on the menu from Paris include tomato salad, steak tartare, and a confit fillet of salmon.

Those with a sweet tooth can end the meal with classic sweet treats such as their house speciality – the French toast, made up of soft brioche and served with strawberries, raspberries and maple syrup.

According to Leylaty’s Instagram page, reservations for this limited-time dining experience are now open from 1pm to 11pm every day.

The Matignon pop-up in Jeddah will also be hosting lunch every Friday and Saturday from 1pm to 4.30pm.

The famous Matignon Paris

Matignon Paris is a party restaurant in Paris and an emblem of Parisian nightlife.

An establishment founded by the famous Costes brothers, the Matignon in Paris – located just a few steps off the Champs Elysées – promotes itself as a 2-in-1 venue: a restaurant and a lounge.

With its lavish interiors of golden and bronze hues, the restaurant exudes a glamorous take on French cuisine with its fashionably sophisticated setting and cosmopolitan vibe. The bold elegance and glamour of this Paris gem offers all the elements of fine dining.

The menu offers an innovative twist to classic brasserie food that appeals to a wide range of palates. Each dish is creative, unexpected, full of diverse flavours, and is elegantly plated.

Who are the Costes brothers?

Most Parisians may have never heard of Costes as they rarely speak to the press. But if you’ve spent even a weekend in Paris, it’s a good bet that they have taken your money and shown you a good time.

In a city where much of life unfurls at little round tables, the Costes own the best ones in Paris.

They’ve got the Café Marly in the Louvre museum. L’Avenue is theirs too, which holds down what may be the most chic intersection in the world: the corner of Avenue Montaigne and Rue François I (fashionistas would know what we’re talking about). The restaurant that sprawls over most of the Hôtel Costes’ lobby is where you eat if you’re French and you’re famous, period.

It’s going to be glamorous…

Here’s your chance to dine at Matignon Paris without even leaving the country.
