Registration for the Green Spirit Run is now open…

The 91st Saudi National Day is coming up, and we’ve found one of the healthiest ways to celebrate.

On September 25, a Saudi National Day Run will take place around the Jeddah Waterfront to celebrate the spirit of the nation with your local community and enjoy an active lifestyle.

Masafat Club, a local Jeddah sports club, is organising a four-kilometre run. Masafat Club aims to encourage participation in sports for everyone in the city.

With the support of the Ministry of Sports’ Jeddah office and Jeddah Municipality, it will be the fifth time that Masafat Club is hosting a run. The ‘Green Spirit Run’ will be around four kilometres long and will take place from 3pm onwards.

Participants will need to have been vaccinated to attend but must register online as early as possible. There will be three separate races: one for men at 4.30pm, one for women at 5.15pm, and one for youth also at 5.15pm (boys and girls over age 12).

The run is aligned with Vision 2030’s goal to build a nation that follows a healthy and active lifestyle – which is why it’s a perfect way to honour the National Day.

This year’s race will take place on Saturday September 25, two days after the actual National Day, so you don’t have to worry about traffic around the waterfront.
