It's official: The Barbie movie is coming to Saudi cinemas on this date

Hi Barbie, this just in. The news we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. It’s just been confirmed that the showing of the Barbie movie in Saudi Arabia is officially happening.
The heavily-sought-after movie will be released to the public on Thursday August 10 across VOX, Muvi, and AMC cinemas. It’s better late than never, and in this pink case, the saying definitely rings true.

The movie follows Barbie and Ken who are having the time of their lives in the seemingly perfect (and very pink) world of Barbie Land. However, after an existential crisis, they go on a journey of self-discovery where they realise that not everything is not all that rosy-pink after all.
The Warner Bros Pictures movie stars Margot Robbie playing Barbie (of course), and Ryan Gosling as her Ken. The movie also stars Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Michael Cera, Kate McKinnon and Helen Mirren. The director is Greta Gerwig who directed Little Women and Lady Bird, the latter of which snapped up a whopping 13 awards.
Show times have already been released on VOX, AMC, and Muvi cinemas for release day (August 10), so if you and the gang really want to plan a girl’s day to watch the Barbie movie in Saudi, be sure to snag tickets as soon as possible.
